Dr. Strecker has an impressive education and training background, having received his baccalaureate degree with honors from Harvard University and his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency training at the Washington Hospital Center where he served as Chief Resident and trained under well-known eye surgical notables. Dr. Strecker is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, and a member of multiple ophthalmology and surgery societies. He also serves as an advisory board member and medical/surgical eye consultant for the Massachusetts Boxing Commission.
