Dr. Garrett was the first surgeon to use the modern phacoemulsification technique for small incision cataract surgery in the area, as well as the first to perform refractive laser-assisted cataract surgery north of Green Bay, WI in 2013. He was recently recognized for his leading use of the Crystalens by Bausch and Lomb with the National Center of Excellence Award.
