Leoni Eye Clinic is a full-service ophthalmology practice that has been providing superior vision correction services to the Lafayette area since 2004. Dr. Ricardo Leoni II, the founder and lead surgeon, takes a one-on-one approach to eye care with each patient to find the best solution for their unique visual needs.

They offer a variety of services to meet all patients’ visual needs, including general eye exams for glasses and/or contacts, cataract evaluations, refractive evaluations for LASIK or other refractive procedures, diabetic retinal exams, glaucoma detection and treatment, pediatric evaluations, and retina evaluations. They also perform a variety of lasers and surgeries to best correct and treat patients’ visual needs, including cataract surgery and LASIK refractive surgery.

Dr. Leoni is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Louisiana State Medical Society, and the Lafayette Parish Medical Society. He has hospital privileges at several prestigious medical centers in the area, including Acadiana Laser and Surgery Center, Heart Hospital of Lafayette, Lafayette General Medical Center, Lafayette General Surgical Hospital, Lafayette Surgical Specialty Hospital, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, and Surgery Center.

One of the clinic’s unique offerings is the CATALYS femtosecond laser treatment, which is safe and innovative technology that Dr. Leoni was one of the first physicians in Lafayette to perform. They also have an in-house VISX Laser and the latest iDesign technology, allowing them to offer a highly individualized and customized treatment plan for each patient.
